“We survived our first 5 day week! The students worked very hard and I bet they are so proud of themselves. We did our first writing prompt and took the STAR math test. We also learned about Read to Someone and what it looks like and sounds like. They got to make their first Daily 5 choice. During Daily 5, I trusted them to choose which activity they wanted to do first: read to self or work on writing. In math we played games and practiced skip counting. They deserve a few days off! Enjoy the weekend ahead!” –Mrs. Fisher
