This week, we have been learning about informative writing. Informative writing teaches the reader about a topic. Our topic has been...Halloween! Their writing assignment has been to write to teach about this holiday.
We had fun doing 2 pumpkin investigations today! Students made predictions about height and circumference. They also predicted if the pumpkins would sink or float. They took their investigation pages home to share.
In math, we did a Halloween tally, graph and math equation activity. We focused on finding the difference when asked a question like, "How many more..."
